US sex scandal: Reps exonerate Gololo, others
Nigeria's House of Representatives exonerated it's three members accused of sexual misconduct while on a trip to the United States of America.
According to NAN the Ethics and Privileges Committee passed the verdict on Tuesday in a report submitted submitted to the house.
The lawmakers, Mohammed Gololo (APC-Bauch); Mark Mbillah (APC-Benue) and Samuel Ikom (PDP-Akwa Ibom) were accused by the former US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. James Enttwistle of sexually assaulting a house keeper and soliciting for sex while attending the international visitors Leadership Programme in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Chairman house committee on Ethics and Previleges Mr. Nicholas Ossai (PDP-Delta) said the lawmakers were cleared for want of evidence.
