| Katsina United FC: Champions NNL Super Four 2015/2016 |
Katsina United emerged winners of the Nigeria second-tier league, the Nigeria National League, after after ABS FC 4-2 on penalties after 1-1 in regulation time Thursday night in Gombe.
United topped the championship playoff with Remo Stars finishing third after they also defeated Gombe United on penalties in a classification game.
Katsina United came from a goal down to level scores with ABS FC in the 69 minute through Bidemi Abdulwahab.
