Katsina United players won't have problem with blending - Nikyu

Katsina United coach, Bala Nikyu insist his players won’t have any problem with blending ahead of their return to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The Katsina club returned to the topflight at the end of last season after topping their Nigeria National League (NNL) group and they have gone ahead to sign Nikyu, to help them retain their topflight status in the next league season.

“We will soon be proceeding to a closed camping programme outside Katsina State. He said

"We want to have the best of preparations for the new season and also finalize on how we want the next season to look like.

"We will do that outside the state and the management is currently doing something to ensure that it is possible.

“We won’t have any problems with blending because I took all the 22 players recommended for retention when I came in here because it is not in my character to drop players. I will add some new players to solidify the team and it is this reason travelling on a closed camping will be added advantage to the team.”
