Of Apostle Johnson Suleman And His Likes, By Muhammad Mukhtar

Apostle Johnson Suleman
Apostle Johnson Suleman |
It is only natural for every individual to determine what is beneficial, and what is harmful in accordance with God’s law, and human design. It is a natural ability, an innate reflex, as of distinguishing left from right, light from darkness, and right from wrong.

When our whims and caprices fail short in directing us to the beneficial aspect of life in its true meaning, its teachings, and its guidance. In such case human laws would have supplanted divine laws, and there will be no further need for religion (Subhanallah).

When an individual exist outside the spectrum of religion, then he is no more less than an animal that lack focus, and direction. Having consciousness of mind and that of the spirit makes it of paramount importance, and incumbent upon an individual to be religiously wise, and abide by its teachings, laws, and guiding principles. These and other qualities constitute, and form a sane individual, and society.

Religion also address worship, commands, and provisions covering all aspects of human in such a marvelous way as how he should live in peace, and tranquility. It secures the happiness of individual spiritually, and in his social life from the standpoint to the greatest possible degree a fair-minded person can affirm.

Allah Subhanahu Wata’Alah says in the Holy Qur’an “Truly religion before Allah is surrender (Islam), and those who received the book did not differ until after knowledge reached them, through transgression among themselves, and as to whosoever disbelieves in Allah’s sign, Allah is swift in reckoning”. Surah 3:19. This is our belief concerning all the religions, but it does not in the least makes us neither to consider other religions as religion nor not to live amongst them in peace, and harmony. Islam is peace, and it preaches peace.

When the likes of Apostle Johnson Suleman brazenly said ‘KILL’ be rest assured he is far from Christianity, and is not preaching the Gospel. How can an Apostle, a Pentecostal preacher stoop so low to bastardized, and discard his own scripture just to satisfy his whims, and caprices?

The Holy Bible in its wisdom says in Proverbs 31:9 “Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy”. Is this what Apostle Johnson Suleman and his likes preach? Did Jesus not said in John 16:33 ‘…in this world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer’. Why are Apostle Johnson Suleman, and his likes do not tell their congregational audience these? It will be easily agreed that they are not practicing Christianity as portrayed by the Holy Bible. They have become blind to the sayings of the Holy Bible due to their hatred for peace, and extreme bigotry.

Roman 5:3 – 5 of the Holy Bible says, “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulations produces perseverance;

4. And perseverance, character, and character hope.
5. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us”.

Apostle Johnson Suleman, and his likes God has not poured out in their hearts the Holy Spirit (as testified by the Holy Bible), for they shall never preached violence if otherwise.

I am in no way supporting the unrest happening in Kaduna south, or think what is happening is right. I strongly condemn, and with heavy heart commiserate with the good people of Southern Kaduna over their loss. All religion abhors killings, likewise human norms and ethics. It is strongly forbidding in Islam as killing one single soul is compared by Allah (SWT) as killing all humans.

As for my Christians brethren, do not listen to Apostle Johnson Suleman, and his likes. They are no far from mischievous bunch of people striving hard to cause chaos, and havoc. If they are to win, they will take you to another level of maiming, wanton killings, and destruction. Their thirst for bloodletting cannot be satiated by killing Fulani herdsmen in Kaduna only.

I can only say what I can through my little knowledge but, it will be worth noting if I talk to you through the words of the Holy Bible.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6 – 7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God. 7. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”.

Blessed are the truly guided.
Muhammad Mukhtar.
