Bala Nikyu parted ways with Katsina based side after just five games and he gave reasons for his decision.
He resigned as coach of Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Katsina United.
Nikyu was assistant coach at Wikki Tourists before taking up the challenge of handling the Katsina side.
According to the tactician, he quit his post owing to personal reasons.
"I had an interesting short stay at Katsina United but I do value relationships a lot. I served the management a notice of my intention to leave the club and noted personal grounds as my reason why I left," Nikyu told Goal.
"I will leave Katsina State and stay off football for at least a month to think through what next to do. Hopefully I will be back to football but that will be after the short break."
