The Chairman of Katsina United Aminu Balele Kurfi (Dan-Arewa) has promised to pay each player N200,000 to defeat Lobi Stars in Makurdi on Sunday.
United players are on N60,000 per-head for an away win, though they were unable to utilize the motivation of N100,000 each if they had defeated Niger Tornadoes in Lokoja last Sunday.
“My promise for them to each get 200,000 Naira if they beat Lobi Stars in Makurdi still stands even though they did not beat Niger Tornadoes in Lokoja on Sunday to get 100,000 Naira each,” said the Chairman.
“These payments are prompt and regular and are part of many incentives we plan for this team.” He added.
It was revealed by the club that players on matchday squad are on N30,000 each allowance for a home win and it's doubled for away win.
