Katsina United defeated El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri three goals to nil at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium Katsina.
United player Musa Suleiman scored a brace with an excellent first goal coming in less than a minute of the first half. Suleiman made it 2-0 at the 48th minute before substitute Obinna Eleje round up the scoring at the 80th minute.
Katsina United were looking to make up for their 2-0 loss to Nasarawa United in mid-week with another home win against the El Kanemi Warriors.
The Maiduguri Warriors came with a hope of picking point at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium so as to keep alive their hopes of playing on the continent next year.
