With 2019 general election barely less than a year, massive exodus has taken place from People Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Katsina State.
The decamped politicians are mostly big wigs of the PDP with thousands of their supporters, this leave people wondering, is PDP ready to contest any elections in Katsina State? This exodus is massive and did not say well of a party ready to contest elections.
Some of the decamped politicians are: Nura Khalil, Yau Umar Gwajo-gwajo, Sen. Ibrahim Ida, Bilyaminu Rimi to mention but a few.
They were received officially today at the Polo Ground in Katsina Metropolis by his excellency Gov. Aminu Bello Masari.
Although there are talks from some quarters that some of these decamped politicians will contest various post in the coming general election under APC to displace some incumbent who have lost out due to intra party crisis going on. But this was not in anywhere given as a reason during the crossover party.
