| Cattle Rustlers |
In a joint patrol carried out by troops in Katsina State, at Nashambe village, two suspected livestock rustlers were arrested and handed over to the police.
The two men who were arrested in Jibia Local Government Area are Malam Lawali Nakadu and Yahuza Suleiman. Several empty cases of 7.62mm ammunition, two Dane guns, one cutlas, local charms and a knife were recovered.
In Shinfida District, three suspected collaborators were also arrested, Muhammadu Jamu, Sani Jamu and Garba Bami, while others fled into the farms.
