Benefits from Governor Masari's trip to Zhengzhou China

Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari arrived Zhengzhou city, China on Saturday 19th Nov. to honour an invitation by the YUSHUI GROUP, a conglomerate of companies that specializes in various fields that includes Civil Engineering.

The entourage were warmly received by the Managing Director Mr Zhai Yuan Jun, the Project Manager Mr Yang Qintao and other top management of the company.

During a meeting with their Chinese hosts at the group's exhibition room, the state delegation were given an opportunity to cross fertilize ideas with their Chinese hosts mainly on water related issues, including but not limited to irrigation and construction of Dams.

Masari’s visit to China will surely yield positives in so many aspects. FitilaOnline can recall that last week, during a courtesy visit to Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Gu Xiaojie in his office in Abuja, Governor Masari seek partnership with China on Education, Health and Agricultural Development.

Katsina State partnership with China will certainly benefit the state, not just in providing solutions to some major obstacles but also by providing economic benefits.

China has become the world’s second largest economy, the biggest goods trading country, the largest holder of foreign exchange reserves, the third largest foreign investing country, and the largest trading partner for nearly 130 countries.

It is vital if the Katsina State government and the Yushui side will attach high importance to developing a new type of partnership that features win-win coalition. The essence will be to integrate the need for development with independent and sustainable development, in order to achieve common goal.

The Yushui Group has the capacity and professional technical ability in the constructions of Dams and for  the purpose of proving their standard, they extended a warm and open gesture to Katsina State government to come and witness first-hand the kind of work they engaged into by going on site oversee visit to witness the efficiency of their work and how communities in china benefits economically from these Dams.

People of Katsina State have been facing difficult situations in terms of water supply, irrigation and the need to improve capacity of Dams in Ajiwa, Dutsin-ma and Jibia to mention but few.
