Kannywood stars, Hadiza Gabon and Usman Uzee were honoured with awards at the concluded 20th African Hollywood Awards, held in London.
The African Hollywood Awards took place at the Broadway Stratford, London on Saturday, and was witnessed by some finest Nigerian and Europe filmmakers and actors.
Hadiza Gabon won the best actress award in the African Films in Hausa Language category, Usman Uzee clinched the best film producer award also in the same category.
The event’s organizers, Mike and Golda-John Abiola, said this year’s award was organized to coincide with the Britain Black History Month and it was aimed at promoting film making collaborations between the British and Nigerian Film Industries.
