Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari Bags The Sun Newspaper Award

Governor Masari has won the 2016 'Courage In Leadership Award' from The Sun Newspapers.

The Managing Director/Editor-in-chief Mr. Eric Osagie, stated that the Board of Editors considered Governor Masari for the award based on his past performance as the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the courageous steps he is now taking to turn around the fortunes of Katsina State to the best ever.

According to Osagie, nominations were debated and where the panelists were not unanimous in their choice, a decision was reached by vote.

He further emphasized that the rigorous process was a tradition, which had preserved the integrity of the awards since inception in 2003.
