| 2016 Leadership Person of the Year Award | |
The Acting EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Mustapha Magu bags Person of the Year 2016 at the Leadership Newspapers Award Night held in Abuja yesterday.
The award was bestowed on him for doing one of the nation’s most challenging jobs in your dogged fight against corruption, working in acting capacity for over one year.
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar while presenting the award to Mr Magu, described him as an incorruptible, true patriot and a man that is a true Nigerian.
The award came two days after the Senate refused to confirm his headship of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
