In an effort to send warning to other principals and head teachers, Governor Masari demoted one principal and a head teacher to classroom teachers.
Principal of Junior section of the Unity Secondary School, Malumfashi, Malam Nuradeen Abubakar and the Head Teacher of Rimaye Model Primary School, Malam Yakub Ibrahim were relegated to the level of classroom teachers over negligence of duties and responsibilities.
The Principal of the Senior section, Malam Nasiru Muazu is to be issued with a serious warning for unconcerned attitudes.
In a statement by Masari's Senior Special Assistant on Media Malam Abdu Labaran, who expressed that the governor's decisions came as a result of an unscheduled visit to the schools which are undergoing unprecedented renovations, but some part of the rehabilitated sections were looking very dirty and neglected, while the Rimaye Model Primary School, which was comprehensively renovated was found to be in disarray.
