NOI Polls: Governor Masari top list of best performing governors (See List)

The result of the NOI 2017 National Poll on governance has been released with residents of various states rating the job performance of their various state governors.

According to the poll results, Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State emerges as No 1 performing governor. Though, it should be noted that the poll was conducted in April - May 2017, and there is every possibility that some things may have changed since then.

The poll also shows that nine of the top ten performing state governors in the country as rated by residents of the various states, are in the North. Anambra at number 10 was the only Southern state to break in.

Top 10:

Katsina (86%),

Sokoto and Kano (with 83% each),

Adamawa (82%),

Zamfara and Jigawa (80% each),

Kebbi (79%),

Niger (73%),

Yobe (71%) and

Anambra (66%).

Bottom 10:

Bayelsa (12%),

Abia (15%),

Delta (18%),

Imo (19%),

Borno (24%),

Kaduna (28%),

Kogi (30%),

Benue (34%),

Bauchi (35%) and

Kwara (38%).
