Police in Bakori Local government area of Katsina are said to have arrested one Dausiya Abdulmumin (15 years old) from Unguwar Danmayaki village, over the death of her husband, Saminu Usman (27 years old) and her younger brother, Muhammad Abdulmumin (18 years).
Dausiya was said to have allegedly put rat poison in the food of the deceased persons that led to their death.
According to Daily Trust report, the deceased husband's younger sister is said to have survived the incident after she was taken to the hospital.
The state police command spokesman DSP Gambo Isah said already the suspect has been arrested and confessed to the crime saying that “she's being transferred to the state criminal investigation department for further investigation.”
