We are losing to agent of darkness - Youth leader writes Governor Masari

Youth leader, Muhammad Mustapha lmam write to His Excellency Katsina State Governor Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari on the issue of Goruba Housing Estate Football Ground.

Below are excerpts from the letter ...

Sir,

With much respect,  am writing on behalf of thousands of youth whose lives is being touched negatively due to greediness of few. It's our hope you will use your good office to rescind and veto this decision.

Football is a beautiful game. In fact it's believed to be the source of livelihood of many around the world . It liberates youth from life of crime to productive life. It prevents crime, in fact all these drugs abuse campaign is not as effective recipe as football, due to its impact.

Today GORUBA estate youth are on the verge of losing their football field to agent of darkness who want mortgage the youth future for their selfish gain. Because their evil intention started early January where they met stiff opposition from good people like Alh. Samir Samaila Musawa,  Abdulhadi Ahmed Bawa, etc. But unfortunately today they are back with excavators,  diggers, shovels to truncate the dream of thousands of youth.

The implication is these youth will remain idle because their talent will be wasted, they will hold the APC government with contempt, so many votes will be lost. And their lives will continue being in limbo.

There is a rumour going round portraying governor Masari as just and good,  blaming his aides for complicating things. Today we are seeing it first hand how this assertion is manifesting right in our own eyes.

It's our prayer that governor Masari will use his good office to veto this day light robbery and infringement on our right.

We also  need governor Masari to pay attention to the details so these things doesn’t happen again.
