Masari receives 3 abducted victims

Katsina State Governor Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari has received three people rescued by security operatives.

The governor who was briefed by one of the victims, kidnapped forty three (43)  days ago, a 40 year old Abdullahi Muhammad who hails from Nasarawa village in Kankiya local government area.

The other two victims are one 29 year old Ukashatu Badamasi and a 17 year old Sa’adatu Muhammad, both from Nasarawa village in Kankiya local government area.

Abdullahi Muhammad told Masari that he was at the den of the kidnappers in Zamfara forests to present the ransom of an old woman kidnapped along with Sa’adatu Mohammed but the kidnappers released the old woman and held him hostage.

He further stated that the kidnappers do not pray nor fast throughout the forty three days of their captivity adding that they believed ”for a male person to die and enter paradise it's an act of cowardice.” Adding that they are always having party at night.

He expressed gratitude to the government for the rescue mission, which secured their release, saying before that they have lost hope in coming back to Nasarawa village alive.
