Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari has sworn in four new permanent sectaries for Katsina state civil service.
The permanent secretaries are: Alhaji Aliyu Danja Umar, posted as permanent sectary for administration in the office of Head of civil service of the state, Engineer Hafiz Iliyasu Wali for works, housing and transport, Barrister Abdulsalam Zango as solicitor general and Alhaji Muhammad Lawal Matazu as permanent sectary for Religious Affairs
Shortly after administering oath of office and that of allegiance, Governor Aminu Bello Masari said the new appointments was part of effort to continue repositioning the civil service under the restoration agenda of APC administration in the state.

The Governor congratulated the new appointees for having the opportunity to prove their worth in the ministries.
He said they were appointed based on professional competence adding that they were appointed for the service of people of the state.

The Governor asked them to keep personal agenda in their pockets and serve the people diligently.
He further reminded them that they have built a career and should not do things to jeopardize their position in the service.
He said if they succeed at the end, he would share the feat with them, adding that they should bear the brunt of failure alone.
