Katsina Police Command has intercepted and arrested 15 male suspected hoodlums popularly called “Kauraye” with different types of weapons at Sabuwar Unguwa area of Katsina town.
Parading the suspects, the command’s Public Relations Officer DSP Salisu Agaisa said the suspects were invited by one notorious Kaura Malam Audu who is presently on the run and radar of the command.
According to him, the weapons recovered include six sharp knifes , nine long sticks, a short knife, adding that the suspects came in from Rafin-Guza area of Kaduna state.Parading the suspects, the command’s Public Relations Officer DSP Salisu Agaisa said the suspects were invited by one notorious Kaura Malam Audu who is presently on the run and radar of the command.
He advised criminals and trouble-makers to leave the state in their own interest as the command is resolute to ensure we make the state very peaceful.
“We are appreciating and appealing to people to continue to provide us with useful information that will be treated with confidentiality to apprehend suspects across the state,” he said.
